The following General Terms and Conditions of Sale  govern the offer and sale of products on our website, “sartoriavanni.com". Please read these terms and conditions carefully before ordering any products. You should understand that by ordering any of our products, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. 

The products purchased on sartoriavanni.com are sold directly by Sartoria Vanni 1818 S.r.l. (SARTORIA VANNI), which has registered office in Italy at Via Ricasoli 30 - 50122 Firenze, VAT  n. IT-06463020484.

1. Our Business Policy

SARTORIA VANNI offers products for sale on sartoriavanni.com and its e-commerce business services are available exclusively to its end users, i.e. the "Consumers".

"Consumer" shall mean any individual who is acting for purposes which are outside his or her trade, business or profession. If you are not a Consumer, please do not buy any products on sartoriavanni.com.

SARTORIA VANNI reserves the right not to process orders received from users who are not "Consumers" and any other order which does not comply with SARTORIA VANNI's business policy. These General Terms and Conditions of Sale (together with the documents referred to herein) regulate the offer, transmission and acceptance of purchase orders relating to products on sartoriavanni.com between the users of sartoriavanni.com and SARTORIA VANNI.

2. How to Execute a Contract with SARTORIA VANNI

To place an order for the purchase of one or more products on sartoriavanni.com, you must fill out the online order form and send it electronically to SARTORIA VANNI, following the relevant instructions.

The order form contains a link to these General Terms and Conditions of Sale, and also contains information on the main characteristics of each product ordered and the relevant unit price (including all applicable fees and taxes), the type of payment that you may use in order to purchase each product, shipping terms for the purchased products, shipping and delivery costs, and references to the terms and conditions for returning purchased products.

The order form will be filed in our data base for the time required to process your order and as provided by law.

Before submitting the order form, you will be asked to identify and correct possible input errors.

The submission of orders to SARTORIA VANNI must be in English.

After your order form has been submitted, SARTORIA VANNI will process your order. SARTORIA VANNI may not process purchases when there are not sufficient guarantees of solvency, when orders are incomplete or incorrect, or the products are no longer available. In the above cases, we shall inform you by e-mail that the contract has not been executed and that SARTORIA VANNI has not carried out your purchase order specifying the reasons thereof. If the products displayed on sartoriavanni.com are no longer available at the time of your last access or once SARTORIA VANNI has received your order form, SARTORIA VANNI shall inform you of the unavailability of the ordered products within thirty (30) days from the day after SARTORIA VANNI has received your order.

If the order form has been sent and the price has been paid for items that are no longer available, SARTORIA VANNI will refund the amount paid for those items.

By submitting an order form to SARTORIA VANNI, you unconditionally accept and undertake to observe the provisions of these General Terms and Conditions of Sale in your contract with SARTORIA VANNI. We would like to remind you that all items purchased are intended for use in the country they were ordered from. If, however, you decide to take the items to another country, you will be responsible for adhering to both the exportation legislation of the order country and the importation legislation of the destination country. SARTORIA VANNI shall not be held liable.

3. Guarantees and Product Price Indication

The main characteristics of products are shown on sartoriavanni.com on each product page. The products offered for sale on sartoriavanni.com may not exactly correspond to the real garments in terms of image and colours due to the Internet browser or monitor used.

Prices are subject to change and will be as quoted on our site from time to time, except in cases of obvious error. Check the final price of sale before sending the relevant order form.

Orders made from a country site different from the one you are shipping to, or to addresses to which SARTORIA VANNI cannot ship, will be automatically cancelled.

4. Payments

Payment of the product prices and relevant costs for shipping and delivery must be made by using one of the procedures indicated on the order form.

In the case of payment by credit/debit card, all details (for example, card number or expiration date) will be sent by encrypted protocol to Banca Sella or other banks which provide remote electronic payment services, without third parties having any access thereto whatsoever. Such details will not be used by SARTORIA VANNI except for performing the procedure relevant to your purchase or issuing refunds in the case of returns, in compliance with the exercise of your return right or for reporting cases of fraud to the police. The price for the purchase of products and the relevant costs for shipping and delivery, as indicated in the order form, will be charged to your current account when the purchased products are actually shipped.

5. Shipping and Delivery of the Products

The information provided in these sections forms an integral part of these General Terms and Conditions of Sale and, consequently, shall be deemed to be fully read and accepted by you at the time your order form is sent. 

6. Allowances

Our products are custom made and handcrafted. These are unique products, manufactured according to specific customer requirements. For this SARTORIA VANNI does not exclude the possibility that two garments with the same personalization may exhibit small variations, which is the proof of craftsmanship in the production process. Products made with fabrics from different suppliers can also present different nuances. 

7. Return and reimbursement

7.1

All suits, jackets, pants and shirts are custom made by SARTORIA VANNI specifically for the customer. For this reason, if you purchase an item "made to order", we cannot offer you the possibility of returning the item with full refund. On the contrary, if the garment is a "made-to-measure", while we still cannot offer a full refund, we will refund the cost of adjusting the garment up to a maximum variable.

In this case you will have to:

- bring the garment to one of our affiliated tailors or to any other tailoring laboratory;

- give our alteration form to the tailor and ensure that he/she takes note of all the alterations: we’ll need the form to update your measures in our database for future orders;

- send us the form at info@sartoriavanni.com together with a copy of the receipt of the amount you paid.

In this way, we will refund you the cost of the alterations (in the form of credit to your MY SARTORIA account) up to a maximum of €150.

The refund can be requested no later than 14 days from the receipt of the garment.

Obviously, any alterations to garments previously approved by us will not be covered. Only the adjustments to the first type of each garment will be reimbursed.

7.2 

For all the accessories and shoes, SARTORIA VANNI offers the possibilities to return the ordered item(s) within 14 days  as of the merchandise delivery date.

To request a return, sign into your account on the website, select the items to return and the desired type of return. You will receive an email from SARTORIA VANNI with the instructions for the return shipment.  There are three types of return:

1) SIZE EXCHANGE

Items can be exchanged only when a different size or a different color of the same Item Code is available. The new item will be eligible for return through the same return procedure.

2) STORE CREDIT

As soon as the return has been processed, the customer will receive a code for the total value of the return items. The code may be used on the following orders.  Store Credit:

              - can be used one time only on a future order within 3 months of the return;

              - is not cumulative with other store credits; 

  - must be used in its entirety on an order that is either equal to or greater than the value of the store credit.

3) REFUND

Refunds will be processed as soon as returned items have been checked and accepted by SARTORIA VANNI.  For orders paid by credit card, the refunded amount will be available to customers in roughly 10 days and within their next billing statement. Processing time may vary depending on the credit card company. Orders paid by PayPal or by bank transfer will be refunded to the original account. Refunds will be issued in the same currency as the original purchase. Any differences in the amount refunded are due to exchange rate fluctuations and will not be reimbursed.

All sales are final. Promotion, vouchers and any form of special offer must be intended as not refundalbe.

10. Governing Law

These General Terms and Conditions of Sale are governed by Italian law and in particular by Italian legislative decree 6 September 2005 no. 206 on distance contracts and by Italian legislative decree 9 April 2003 no. 70 on certain aspects related to e-commerce.

11. Amendments and updates

The General Terms and Conditions of Sale may be amended from time to time due to new laws and regulations or other reasons. The new General Terms and Conditions of Sale shall be effective as of the date of publication on sartoriavanni.com.
